Work continues at King’s International College

External Canopy

The PCP team continue to work for Surrey County Council at King’s International College.

Starting in 2020, the ‘Bulge Projects’ comprised several phases of reconfiguration and refurbishment works to increase the school’s capacity including:

  • Bulge 2020

  • Phase 1a – Library and WC’s – strip-out and replacement of sanitaryware, M&E installation, decorations/finishes and cubicles

  • Phase 1b – Staff room PPA, SEND room, Business ICT suite and external works – full refurbishment including asbestos removal works during the holidays prior to commencing

  • Phase 1c – SEND Centre – full refurbishment

  • Phase 2 – Science block, Offices, Food-Tech and Changing Rooms – refurbishment including HVAC, FF&E and specialist extract, gas supply and emergency shut off installations

  • Bulge 2022

  • External Canopy

  • Phase 1 – Corridor doors and glazing including fire upgrades

  • Phase 2 – New external canopy

  • Phase 3 – Pi Block changing rooms

Working throughout the year, our management team liaised closely with the school and council to maximise use of the holidays coordinate term-time work to enable continued learning.

Very much ‘part of the school’ now, we have completed further works this year including further WC refurbishments and classroom improvements.
